More Cards with the Amora Kits with Cathi

Hello scrappy friends! It's me, Cathi, back again.  This is my final set of projects with the Amora kits and of course I wanted to do more cards! I love using the kits for all different types of projects, but cards are always a favorite!  I find it amazing that each kit helps me do tons of cards, layouts, planner projects and mixed media pieces.

For my first card I used the lovely aqua watercolor Good Vibes from the Cocoa Vanilla Happiness collection included in the main Scrapbooking Kit (TSK) and Amora kit.  I used several ephemera also from the TSK.  The flair is from the TSK and the teal flowers are from the Bits and Pieces Kit (BPK). I used twine from my own collection as a design element behind the embellishment cluster.

My second card is a happy and bright card using the Sprinkles paper as a base from the TSK.  The butterfly graphic is cut out from a sheet from the BPK.  The crochet flowers are from the Planner Babe Box and the pink paper flowers are from the TSK.  The daisy and leaf ephemera are from the TSK and the Hello Beautiful sticker is from the Pretty Little Kit (PLK).

My final card uses the Good Vibes watercolour paper from the TSK for its base again. I used twine from my stash again for the background texture. The doily is from the BPK. The my happiness banner, heart and flower ephemera are from the TSK and word sticker is from the PLK.  The pink flowers are from the TSK.

I always love to make cards and love using up most of my ephemera finishing off extra card sets! I hope you enjoyed having a look at my last card set with the Amora kit and will consider subscribing. You can find the subscriptions HERE.  Hope to see you back soon!!

Cathi's August Traveler's Notebook Layout and Planner Pages with the Amora Kit

Hello scrappy friends! It's me, Cathi, back again. This week I wanted to do a layout, but I just don't do full size 12x12 layouts anymore (4 big storage boxes of 3-dimensional layouts that don't fit in albums kinda burned me out!).  I love being able to add a layout or two each month in my A5 traveler's notebook though and have learned to use flatter less dimensional things to make my layouts. I've also added some bonus planner pages to this blog post of my August notebook decor using the Amora kit. I hope you enjoy!!

The base of my two-page traveler's notebook spread is the gorgeous wood grain Bright & Beautiful paper from the Cocoa Vanilla Happiness collection found in the main Scrapbooking Kit (TSK).

This first closeup of the left side of my spread I have used one of the polaroid cut-outs from the Pretty Little Kit (PLK). The 3 x 5 paper layers are also part of the Project Life cards in the PLK.  I added the heart ephemera from the TSK and the cardstock stickers from the PLK.

In this photo you can see the ephemera pieces from the TSK and the cardstock stickers from the PLK.

In the final closeup for the layout you can see all the layers I used, ephemera flowers and leaves, lovely word and Happy Snaps flair all from the TSK.

I had to use more of the kit to decorate my August notebook. I used stickers from the Planner Babe box along with lots of ephmera pieces from the TSK. The black clip is also from the Planner Babe box.  I love the colors in this kit and how the planner stickers work with the Cocoa Vanilla Happiness collection.

I always have a habit tracker page and a goals page and I used the clear stickers from the PLK.

Finally, I alway love a fun inspirational layout at the start of my daily journals so I used a cut out from the PLK. Some scraps of paper from the TSK, and the beautiful die cut flowers from the Bits & Pieces Kit (BPK).

I love working with the kits in my planner, both for planner pages and layouts!!  I hope you enjoyed the planner projects and will consider subscribing. You can find the subscriptions HERE.  Hope to see you back soon!!

Amora Mixed Media Canvas with Cathi

Hello scrappy friends! It's me, Cathi, back again.  This week I have a mixed media canvas where I used my Colour Kit (TCK) and all the rest of the kits gorgeous contents. I had a great time putting this together and getting messy and creative!

The base of my canvas is scraps of all the gorgeous papers from Cocoa Vanilla Studio's Happiness collection from the main Scrappery Kit (TSK)!! I adhered them to my canvas using gel medium and then sealing them in with the medium as well. This is a great way to use up all those off-cuts and scraps from the kit!

In this first close up you can see the doily from the Bits and Pieces Kit (BPK). The gorgeous butterfly die cut is in the from the TSK.  I used the Kaisercraft templates and the Dazzlerz Foiled Again Texture Paste from the TCK to make some gorgeous patterns on my canvas.

I took the Shimmerz Orange Sherbet paint as well as the texture paste to add some color and texture around the edge of the canvas. The paper word stickers are from the Pretty Little Kit (PLK) and the pink paper flowers are from the TSK.

Here you can see more of the pink paper flowers and the beautiful lace flower on top of the beautiful butterfly die cut from the TSK.

In my final close up I have added the die cut ephemera Thankful word from the TSK to finish off the canvas. I wanted the canvas to have inspiring words along with the symbol of beauty and freedom the butterfly represented. I love the word stickers and the ephemera for adding inspiration!

I am so glad I got messy this week with the kits!  I hope you enjoyed the canvas and will consider subscribing. You can find the subscriptions HERE.  Hope to see you back soon!!

Lisa with a 12X12 Layout share using the Amora Kits

Hey There.

Lisa back again, to share a layout using the 'Amora' Kits.

Today's layout is a totally different look achieved with the same kits. I am sure you will agree these kits are at glance mostly soft florals with lots of pink and other pastels, as they contain the gorgeous Cocoa Vanilla 'Happiness' collection.

So as you can see this is a very BLUE layout, almost monochromatic. Different shades of blue with some touches if white.

I like to challenge myself and also try to think out side the square, I think it helps keep things interesting and extends the usability of a kit.

Once I decide to do a layout like this, I pick out as many papers and embellishments from the kit in this colour - I may not use them all but I have a selection to work with.

This design is very simple and clean, but still allows you to build the layers.
I basically cut each element in half and replicated it mirrored on each side.

You can see the photo is almost a little over exposed with a blue tinge, which is also accentuated by the blue surrounding it.

Punching some shapes can help increase the amount of elements you have to work with in the same colour or coordinating.

The word pieces from Cocoa Vanilla make creating a title super simple.

Here you can see I embossed the first/last layer of white card layering to add more interest and texture. It also helps everything work together more cohesively.

Some ephemera and enamel dots as always help bring everything together.

I hope you have enjoyed my share today and it encourages you to look at your kits and stash differently too.

Make sure you stop by the shop to check out all the goodies and kits available.

Have a great day :-)

Amora Kit Card Creations by Cathi

Hello scrappy friends! It's me, Cathi, back again.  This week I have a set of three cards from the gorgeous Amora kit using the Cocoa Vanilla Studios Happiness collection. I love the bright happy colors in this one!

For my first card I used the watercolor soft blue paper Good Vibes from the Happiness collection in the main Scrapbooking Kit (TSK). I layered it with a gorgeous doily from the Bits and Pieces Kit (BPK).  On top of the loily I added the One of a Kind banner and floral die cut from ephemera in the TSK.  The blue flowers came from the BPK and the pretty butterfly is a cardstock sticker from the Pretty Little Kit (PLK).   I finished off the card with stitching around the border.

For my second card I used the black dotted side of the Botanical Bliss paper from the TSK. The dark paper made all the bright colors really shine!. I added some twine from my stash around the paper for some texture.  I added the tag, flower and heart ephemera from the TSK. The hello and the flair also come from the TSK. The blue flower is from the BPK.

For my final card I used more of the blue watercolor paper from the TSK.  The You are My Happy cutout is from the PLK which I layered on next.   I then added the flair and heart ephemera from the TSK. The pink flowers are from the TSK and the pink rhinestones are from the BPK. Again I finished it up with a stitched border.

Cards are always some of my favorite things to make with the kits!  I hope you enjoyed the projects and will consider subscribing. You can find the subscriptions HERE. I've some scrapbooking and a mixed media canvas coming up! Hope to see you back soon!!

Amora Kit Creations

Amora Kit Creation #2 with Stacy

Hello Lovelies ... thanks for taking the time to come and have a look at my creations from the last couple of weeks that I have made from the amazing Amora Kit.

Creation #2 is a Happy Mail Tag Flipbook.

I decided to make this a very pretty project and the colours and pretty items that are included in the Amora kit made it very easy to put it together ...

I copic coloured Stamping Bella images and thought the images went well with my pretty theme.

For one of the pages I created a crape paper rosette adding it to a doily from the Amora kit and topping it with a tulle bow, a paper flower, and a tiny tag with one of the word stickers from the Cocoa Vanilla Studios Sticker sheets all included in the TSK & BPK

To finish up creation #2 I used a quote from the Happiness 12 x 12 cut apart sheet included in the PLK.
I am very pleased with how this pretty little Happy Mail come together ...

Amora Kit Creation #3 with Stacy

Deciding to go with an off the page project this time i chose to decorate a mini clipboard.

Firstly I have been wanting to use the beautiful The Scrappery packaging into my crafting so in this creation the backing for my digital stamped image from All Dressed Up is the gorgeous black and white packaging you will recognise from the kits, I think the black and white stripes look amazing with the beautiful colours included in the kits.

On the removable focal point, copic coloured digital stamp is framed with a frame from the Happiness ephemera and I have attached a paper tassel also from the ephemera. Along with the paper flowers included in Amora Kit I put in a few from my stash.

When removing the focal point the clipboard is still very usable. I have used scrap pieces of paper and glued them down randomly adding a doily and doing a layer of mod podge over the lot. After that had dried I put on a word also from the Happiness collection ... and a scrap piece of lace I had on my desk and thought it was perfect with this Kit.

I hope you have enjoyed what I have shared with you this week. I had so much fun making creation #2 & #3 from the Amora Kit and maybe I have inspired you to make something a bit different then a scrapbook layout or a page in your project life. With all the goodies that are included in The Scrappery Kits why not do it all.
Please if you have any questions do not hesitate to ask in the comments below.

To purchase the Amora Kits please contact Ronelle via email through The Scrappery online shop.

Unitl next time ... take care
💙 Stacy

Amora Kit: June and July in my Travelers Notebook by Cathi

Hello scrappy friends! It's me, Cathi, back again.  The gorgeous Amora kit has landed in Ireland and I am so excited to get designing with it!!!  Of course one of the first things I love to do is to use the Planner Babe Box and all the other kits to decorate my traveler's notebook!!  I use an A5 leather traveler's notebook for my planning and journaling and I have used the gorgeous diamante initial that came with my kit to personalize my cover!

For the inside of my traveler's notebook, I bought several notebook covers to act as dashboards for my notebooks, as well as pen holders!!  I love to decorate a cover for each month, and here you can see one of my notebook covers and a peek at the folder I made to hold my stickers in the notebook.  The gorgeous pen from the Planner kit is in one of my pen holders as well.

For my first in-depth project, I made a folder to stash all my stickers in. I always love to take a full sheet of paper from the main Scrapbooking Kit (TSK) and fold it into my A5 folder. For this month I took the beautiful Meadow paper from the Cocoa Vanilla Happiness collection found in the TSK.  From the Pretty Little Kit (PLK) I used the Hello Beautiful cutout from the Little Bits paper. I layered it on a piece of paper from the PLK in the 4x6 size underneath.  The gorgeous paper flowers came from the Bits and Pieces Kit (BPK), the Good Vibes flair and the tassle die cut came from the TSK.

Here is a look at the inside of the folder with my stickers I used.

Here are the two covers I did for my notebooks. For the June cover I used the Expressive paper for the base from the TSK. The doily is from the BPK and the cutout journal card is from the PLK.  I used some puffy hearts from the last kit as well as the alphas.  The butterfly is a cardstock sticker from TSK as well as the heart banner ephemera.  The June cover uses the stunning Botanical Bliss paper from the TSK.  I used a polaroid frame cutout from the PLK and layered it with a 4x6 from that kit underneath.  The ephemera ticket and plant are from the TSK as well as the butterfly sticker. The pink rhinestones come from the BPK.

I love to use the kits inside my notebook pages as well, so here is my monthly June calendar. I used a punched edging from the Planner Babe kit.  The flowers and butterflies are ephemera from the TSK.  The blue rhinestones are from the TSK as well!

After my calendar I always do habit trackers and goals and I love using the clear stickers in the PLK for these!!

I like to do an inspirational page before I start my journaling. I used some 4x6 papers and cutouts from the PLK, along with a few clear stickers on my journal page.

For July I have used some ephemera from both the Planner Babe Kit and the TSK.  I also used some stickers from the Planner Babe Kit.

My Habit Tracker and Goals page use the gorgeous clear stickers from the PLK.

My final project is my inspiration page for July using ephermera from the TSK, papers and cutout from the PLK and the butterfly is a fussy cut butterfly from the TSK Bright and Beautiful paper.

I love using my kits in my planner.  I hope you enjoyed the projects and will consider subscribing. You can find the subscriptions HERE. I've got more cards coming up! Hope to see you back soon!!
