More Cards with the Amora Kits with Cathi

Hello scrappy friends! It's me, Cathi, back again.  This is my final set of projects with the Amora kits and of course I wanted to do more cards! I love using the kits for all different types of projects, but cards are always a favorite!  I find it amazing that each kit helps me do tons of cards, layouts, planner projects and mixed media pieces.

For my first card I used the lovely aqua watercolor Good Vibes from the Cocoa Vanilla Happiness collection included in the main Scrapbooking Kit (TSK) and Amora kit.  I used several ephemera also from the TSK.  The flair is from the TSK and the teal flowers are from the Bits and Pieces Kit (BPK). I used twine from my own collection as a design element behind the embellishment cluster.

My second card is a happy and bright card using the Sprinkles paper as a base from the TSK.  The butterfly graphic is cut out from a sheet from the BPK.  The crochet flowers are from the Planner Babe Box and the pink paper flowers are from the TSK.  The daisy and leaf ephemera are from the TSK and the Hello Beautiful sticker is from the Pretty Little Kit (PLK).

My final card uses the Good Vibes watercolour paper from the TSK for its base again. I used twine from my stash again for the background texture. The doily is from the BPK. The my happiness banner, heart and flower ephemera are from the TSK and word sticker is from the PLK.  The pink flowers are from the TSK.

I always love to make cards and love using up most of my ephemera finishing off extra card sets! I hope you enjoyed having a look at my last card set with the Amora kit and will consider subscribing. You can find the subscriptions HERE.  Hope to see you back soon!!

Amora Kit Card Creations by Cathi

Hello scrappy friends! It's me, Cathi, back again.  This week I have a set of three cards from the gorgeous Amora kit using the Cocoa Vanilla Studios Happiness collection. I love the bright happy colors in this one!

For my first card I used the watercolor soft blue paper Good Vibes from the Happiness collection in the main Scrapbooking Kit (TSK). I layered it with a gorgeous doily from the Bits and Pieces Kit (BPK).  On top of the loily I added the One of a Kind banner and floral die cut from ephemera in the TSK.  The blue flowers came from the BPK and the pretty butterfly is a cardstock sticker from the Pretty Little Kit (PLK).   I finished off the card with stitching around the border.

For my second card I used the black dotted side of the Botanical Bliss paper from the TSK. The dark paper made all the bright colors really shine!. I added some twine from my stash around the paper for some texture.  I added the tag, flower and heart ephemera from the TSK. The hello and the flair also come from the TSK. The blue flower is from the BPK.

For my final card I used more of the blue watercolor paper from the TSK.  The You are My Happy cutout is from the PLK which I layered on next.   I then added the flair and heart ephemera from the TSK. The pink flowers are from the TSK and the pink rhinestones are from the BPK. Again I finished it up with a stitched border.

Cards are always some of my favorite things to make with the kits!  I hope you enjoyed the projects and will consider subscribing. You can find the subscriptions HERE. I've some scrapbooking and a mixed media canvas coming up! Hope to see you back soon!!

More Cards with Cathi and the Skye Kits!

Hello scrappy friends! It's me, Cathi, back again. This week I would love to share with you my third and final set of cards with the Skye kits! I've run out of card sized scraps to do any more, but the fact that I got 9 cards, three layouts, and two sets of planner pages out of the kits speaks for itself! Amazing value in the kits!

For my first card I used the beautiful Mixed Blessing paper from Cocoa Vanilla Midnight collection found in the main Scrappery Kit (TSK).  I layered a cut out from the Pretty Little Kit (PLK) and added some gorgeous puffy hearts that were a bonus with the kit.  I edged the papers in distress ink and added a sewn border to finish off the card.

For my next card I used the same gorgeous paper from the TSK. I added a doily from the Pretty Little Pieces embellishment pack in the Bits and Pieces Kit (BPK)Next I added the heart jar and diamond ephemera from the BPK and the Live the Life You Love from the cut out sheet in the PLK.  I edged the base paper in distress ink and finished off the card with the puffy heart stickers and the stitched  border.

For my final card I used the lovely stripey Sophisticated paper from the TSK. The "So Lovely" cut out is from the PLK and I added the grey dots from the BPK. The twine is from my own stash.  I finished the card off again with a sewn border.

I love how the cards turned out, despite being more limited with embellishments this go around!!  I hope you enjoyed them and will consider subscribing. You can find the subscriptions HERE. I've got more cards coming up! Hope to see you back soon!!

Card & Tag set using the SKYE kits - with Lisa

Hi there Scrappery Peeps 💕

Welcome back to another share.
Today I am sharing a Card & two tags I have created using the 'Skye' kits.

I love the soft water colour florals in the kits. We also got some amazing liquid watercolours in the colour kit to play with.

I popped a tiny dot of each of these paints on my craft mat then blended with water until I got the desired strength.

The colour pigment level is so intense & amazing.

I used some of the floral printed patterned paper from the collection (black outline on white background) I coloured in the flowers with the watercolours, then fussy cut them out.

As you can see I got several different shades of pink & purple by adjusting the amount of water with the pigment.

The 'Skye' Kits & the 'Cocoa Vanilla' collection 'Midnight' have lots of beautiful floral elements to choose from. They are mostly in soft pastels & a watercolour look.

By making your own painted images this stretches your kit even further whilst having a play with some mixed media. This level of mixed media is great for someone wanting to give it a go without getting too messy!

This simple yet pretty card shows how I used some of the pre cut chipboard & die-cuts from the kit to compliment the hand painted flowers I created.

There are so many pretty elements in the 'Skye' Kits, which makes it so easy to create a card or tag just by creating some simple layers.

I love the silver Puffy hearts from Freckled Fawn.

Thanks for stopping by the blog, I hope you have enjoyed my share today.

Make sure you check out kits & more in the shop.

More Cards with Cathi and the Skye Kits!

Hello scrappy friends! It's me, Cathi, back again. This week I would love to share another set of three cards I have made using the Skye kits which feature the gorgeous Cocoa Vanilla Studios Midnight collection.  I just love the mix of the soft pinks in this kit with the nearly navy blues and purples, really gorgeous and unique!!  I still have so much left in my kits, but I have used quite a bit of the ephemera in all my projects!! You can see the colors link all the cards here together, as well as the stitching that I did on each of the cards. Next week I hope to do a mixed media project with the gorgeous Colour Kit (TCK)!!

For my first card I used the beautiful Cocoa Vanilla Studios Midnight Bloom and Grow paper from the main Scrapbooking Kit (TSK).  I layered a smaller piece of the gorgeous watercolour paper Moonlight paper again from the TSK.  I added a stitched border to the smaller layer and popped it up on foam tape to add dimensions.  I then added lots of layers to the card, starting with the floral genometric shape from the ephemera found in the Bits & Pieces Kit (BPK). I then layered a cardstock sticker that says "love you so" from the Pretty Little Kit (PLK). Next I added a chipboard heart from the TSK, along with the Hello Lovely flair button. The gray flower is another lovely piece from the ephemera pack in the BPK.

My next two cards use the gorgeous Moonlight paper from the Cocoa Vanilla Studios Midnight collection.  For this card, I chose a cutout quote "let joy be your compass" for the main sentiment for the card. The cutout sheet can be found in the PLK.  I popped the sentiment up on foam tape for dimension and then added a chipboard heart and pretty little girl flair button from the TSK. The purple-black heart and the heart flag are both from the ephemera pack in the BPK.  I finished off the card with a stitched border.

For my final card I used a doily from the BPK. I layered the floral tag flowers and heart from the BPK ephemera pack as well.  The little "UR" stickers can be found in the PLK, and the wonderful banner and grey chipboard heart can both be found in the TSK.  Again, I finished off this card with some stitching around the border.

I really love how this set turned out, even if I have used up most of the ephemera pack now!! I hope you enjoyed my card set with the Skye kit and will consider subscribing. You can find the subscriptions HERE. I've got another layout and more cards coming up soon! Hope to see you back soon!!

Skye Kit Handmade Cards with Cathi

Hello scrappy friends! It's me, Cathi, back again. This week I would love to share a set of three cards I have made using the Skye kits. I always like to do several cards with my kits, they are some of my favorite projects to work on!

For my first card I used the gorgeous soft pink striped Sophisticated paper from the Cocoa Vanilla Studios Midnight collection found in the main Scrapbooking Kit (TSK)This is a clean and simple card with gorgeous layers of the chipboard pieces and the sparkly Thickers found in the TSK as well. I edged the paper with Vintage Photo Distress Ink for a vintage look.  This is a card for my good friend's 50th Birthday!!

For  my next card I used some fun pieces like the twine and bark heart from the Pretty Little Pieces kit in my Bits and Pieces Kit (BPK).  The background paper is the Inspired sheet from the Midnight collection. I added a doily from the TSK. The chipboard rose is from the TSK. The butterfly and bloom and grow die cuts are from BPK.  I finished off the card with some enamel dots from the Pretty Little Kit (PLK)

My final card again used the Sophisticate paper from the TSK.  I used some twine from my stash at the base of my cluster and layered some die cuts from the BPK, a chipboard flower and a flair button from the TSK.  The crosses are a bonus gift for subscribers!

I love how they came out and how versatile this kit is! I hope you enjoyed my card set with
the Skye kit and will consider subscribing. You can find the subscriptions HERE. I've got another layout and more cards coming up soon! Hope to see you back soon!!

More Cards with the Aubrey Kit

Hello scrappy friends!! Cathi back with some more card projects to share from the gorgeous Aubrey kit!!  I just love this Pink Paislee Auburn Lane collection and while I am waiting for my Skye Kit to arrive I needed to get a few more cards done and wanted to share them with you!

These kits are full of the papers and seem to go on forever, great value for money! I used most of the flowers in the last set of cards but had one left, so on this card I added flower die cut, some foiled gold leaves and the ribbon roses from the Pretty Little Pieces sets.  I love the gold foil thickers I used for the sentiment. They came in gold and rose gold and with so many on each sheet that I think they will last for a while.  I finished off the card with the little puffy heart stickers.

Here is a simple Thanks card using a doily layer from the Pretty Little Pieces set, a wooden frame from the collection a the puffy sticker "thanks" heart and bee. I finished off the card with the gold pearls.

My final card is for my parents anniversary this weekend.  I used a doily for this one, some washi tape from the collection and some die cuts. The blinged out bow with a pearl is from the Pretty Little Pieces kit!  Simple but so pretty!  I fhished it off with the gold hearts and alphas!

I hope you enjoyed my second set of cards with the Aubrey kits and will consider subscribing. You can find the subscriptions HERE. Hope to see you back soon!!

Cards and Planners with the Aubrey Kit!

Hello scrappy friends!! Cathi back with some projects to share from the gorgeous Aubrey kit!!  I was in hospital most of September and October (like our gorgeous owner, I too deal with Multiple Sclerosis in my life, and I had my first flare up ever 10 years after my original diagnosis, losing mobility in my left arm and leg, it was scary!!)  I am back now and building up my strength and I decided to use the Aubrey kit that arrived while I was unwell and get this blog up and running until my latest kit reaches me!!  The Aubrey kits feature the gorgeous Pink Paislee Auburn Lane collection and they are FULL of so many extra goodies from the collection: flowers, die cuts, stickers, so many things!!

I love the cut outs from the collection and I used this Thinking of You sentiment to be a focus of this card. I layered the sentiment on top of a doily from the Bits and Pieces Kit (BPK) and added the gorgeous flowers and heart die cuts from the collection. I always like to use my sewing machine on cards so I stitched the borders on most of the cards.

I love the soft colors of this card and have used another cut out card which says thankful. The colors from the flowers in this collection are just so gorgeous and mute and the variety is just amazing. I used them on all my cards!! I layered lots of papers for this one and added a die cut and some pearls from the kit.

For my final card I used a frame die cut and house sticker along with some flowers and several of the puffy stickers from the kit. I finished it off with some stitching and some pearls.

This year I have started a bullet journal and wanted to use the collection to embellish it! I've made an inspirational page and set up my 2019 goals page using stickers from the planner sticker set, along with diec cuts and stickers.  I have been using the kit for several journal page decorations which I will feature in a future blog post.

I hope you enjoyed my set of cards and planner pages with the kits and will consider subscribing. You can find the subscriptions HERE. Hope to see you back soon!!

More Cards using the Olivia Kits

Hello again my crafty friends! Cathi back again with my first projects featuring the gorgeous Olivia kits!! I went back to my first love, cards! These are always made easy with the Scrappery kits and the gorgeous collection More than Words by Cocoa Vanilla Studio, featured in this month's Olivia kits!  My main card I made features the Colour Kit (TCK) which I don't always use as much as I want to! This month I made a point of using the TCK to feature in my cards.

My first card here I decided to use most of the TCK.  For the base of the card I chose the "Precious" paper from the More than Words collection found in the main Scrapbooking Kit (TSK).  I added the Nuvo Creations paste and the plus stencil to the background and then used the embossing ink and stamps from the TCK to make the "love you" and hearts.  I added tons of layers, including lots of floral ephemera from the TSK. I added the chipboard sticker frame and butterfly to my collage. The coral paper flowers and clear rhinestones from Kaisercraft are found in the Bits and Pieces Kit (BPK).  I added the cardstock text sticker from the Pretty Little Kit (PLK) and finished off the card with some blue stitching and some twine.

My second card uses the "Collage" paper from the TSK as its base. I have layered a cut out from the "Treasure" paper along with some of the vellum. I added a bit of twine behind them. The coral small flowers and flair button come from the BPK, while the larger flowers and ephemera piece come from the TSK. The vellum butterfly is from the PLK.

For my final card I have again used the "Collage" paper from the TSK.  I have layered many gorgeous ephemera pieces and the chipboard sticker frames from the TSK along with the heart puffy stickers.  The "love you so much" sticker and butterfly vellum piece are from the PLK.  I finished the card off with twine and some stitching.

I hope you enjoyed my second set of cards with the kits and will consider subscribing. You can find the subscriptions HERE. Hope to see you back soon!!

My First Olivia Projects: Card Set of 3

Hello again my crafty friends! Cathi back again with my first projects featuring the gorgeous Olivia kits!! I received my kits last week and got to work on several projects at once!  My first project I am sharing is a set of cards featuring the Cocoa Vanilla Studios More Than Words collection that features in these Olivia kits. Yet another gorgeous kit chock full of gorgeous items perfectly curated by our Ronelle!!

My mum isn't very well at the moment and I live 6000 miles away so I made this card with her in mind. I just love the "so very dear to my heart" illustration, and made that the centerpiece of my card. For the base of the card I used the polka dotted Collage paper from the More Than Words collection included in the Pretty Little Kit (PLK). I added some stitching around the edge for a bit of extra detail.  For the "dear to my heart" card, I added the vellum from the main Scrapbooking Kit (TSK) and added stitching around the card. I popped it up on foam tape in the center of the card.  The flower ephemera, heart puffy stickers and chipboard heart stickers can be found in the TSK, while the More than Words flair button and Kaisercraft blooms came from the Bits and Pieces Kit (BPK)

For my next card, I used the gorgeous floral Precious paper from the collection in the TSK. I inked the edges with distress ink and added a journaling card from the BPK. The flowers and hello lovely are chipboard stickers also from the TSK. I added some heart puffy stickers and clear rhinestones along with a vellum butterfly ephemera from the PLK.

For my final card I used another piece of the Collage paper from the TSK, again with a stitched border. I layered the weathered wood design from the Precious paper over the base and stitched the edge as well.  I added the beautiful "you make my heart sing" chipboard sticker, flowers, a butterfly and puffy heart stickers from the TSK. The twine and the sequins come from the Pretty Little Pieces kit. The flair button comes from the BPK.

I love this beautiful Cocoa Vanilla collection and the cards I made with it. I hope you like them too! These kits are so full of goodness and can work with so many different types of projects! I hope that you will come and have a look at the kits and consider subscribing!!  You can find the subscriptions HERE.  I'll be back next week with a planner project and have some layouts in planning stages! Hope to see you here soon!!

Cathi back again with a new set of cards, this time using the gorgeous new Willow kits!  As you might have noticed about me, I love doing a bit of all kinds of papercrafting, layouts, cards, off the page and planner!  Cards are always a favorite for me and I used lots of the kit to make these happy and bright cards!

For my first card I used the soft and pretty polka dot All Good paper from the Good Vibes collection from Crate Paper, found in the main Scrapbooking Kit (TSK). The gorgeous pompom frame and the ephemera are also from the TSK.

For my next card I used the Life Goals soft pink paper for the base. The gold doily comes from the Pretty Little Pieces pack in the Bits and Pieces Kit (BPK), the rhinestones, Be Happy Be Bright Be You and tag come from the ephemera pack in the TSK. The gold foil stars come from the cardstock stickers in the Pretty Little Kit (PLK).

For my final card I kept it simple, a gorgeous pompom frame and cactus and word ephemera from the TSK, set on a base of the gorgeous fern paper from the other side of the Life Goals sheet. Simple but effective and one of my favorite cards!

More Cards and Planner Goodies with my Violet Kits!

Hello scrappy friends!! Cathi back again! I am back again this week with some more cards and planner projects to finish off my Violet kits while I wait for the Willow kits to land here in Ireland!  I really love how everything turned out and can't believe how many projects I was able to do with this kit. I am really looking forward to the next kit and what I can make with it!

For my first card in the set, I used the Beautiful Mess paper from the main Scrapbooking Kit (TSK).  The Violet kits are chock full of the Cocoa Vanilla Bohemian Dream collection. I layered a scrap of paper from the collection and then added the tag and flower ephemera from the TSK.  I added the gorgeous chipboard butterfly sticker from the Bits & Pieces Kit (BPK) and finished the card off with the beautiful heart stickers from the TSK

For my second card I used a piece of the gorgeous cardstock from the kit and layered it with the Beautiful Mess paper and another layer of the cardstock.  I used the ephemera from the TSK and the chipboard sticker flower from the BPK. I finished the card off again with the heart stickers from the TSK.

For my final card with the kit I have used the Beautiful Mess paper again for the base and another scrap of paper to layer on it. I used some ephemera form the TSK and the diamantes from the Pretty Little Kit (PLK) and chipboard word stickers from the BPK.

This year I am using a B6 traveler's notebook for my journaling and planning and I decided I needed some notebook covers and folders for it and made some gorgeous projects using the Bohemian Dreams papers!

For this notebook I used the gorgeous Abstract paper from the TSK, the moments cutout from the PLK and the chipboard sticker from the BPK.  The ephemera frame and butterfly and tab as well as the heart stickers are from the TSK.

This is the folder I made for my notebook, I love having pockets in the traveler's notebook for stickers and other loose bits, and a pretty folder is even better!  I used the Kaleidoscope paper from the TSK. I love the weathered wood on the outside of the folder but the inside has the gorgeous kaleidoscope of colors!  I used the vellum ephemera and heart stickers from the TSK, the cardstock sticker from the PLK and the chipboard butterfly from the BPK.

For this notebook cover, I used the Flower Child paper from the TSK. The chipboard stickers come from the BPK, the ephemera and hear stickers from the TSK and the cardstock stickers from the PLK.

I also have a micro sized traveller's notebook that I use for a wallet and I had great fun doing dashboards and a folder

For this tiny little dashboard I used the Beautiful Mess paper again as the backdrop, along with a piece of ephemera nd heart stickers, all from the TSK.

This tiny little folder can hold some credit cards, bank cards or even some cash. I made it from the Gypsy Heart paper from the TSK and added a chipboard sticker from the BPK and ephemera and puffy stickers from the TSK.

For my final dashboard I used the x paper, along with some ephemera and stickers from the TSK.

I hope you like the projects I have made for this week! These kits are so full of goodness and can work with so many different types of projects! I hope that you will come and have a look at the kits and consider subscribing!!  You can find the subscriptions HERE.  My new Willow kit is on the way and I am hoping to have projects to show by next week! See you soon!!
