TSK CLEO ~ HELLO DARLING GIRL ~ CHARM

Last but certainly not least, here is the last layout I have created using TSK Cleo...

This time I decided to go with Hot Pink, Teal & Gold for this layout from the kit...

I have used a lot of the Serendipity Ephemera again {there's STILL more left to play with!} along with a few things from BPK ORLA...

Pink, Teal & Gold work SOOO well together! Oh and the touch of Silver Crystals...

I have to say out of the whole kit I am loving the Gold Sequin string - its GORGEOUS!

I hope you've liked how I've used TSK CLEO, it's such a fabulous kit to play around with!

TSK CLEO ~ NANNY & ELIJAH/CHLOE ~ KAYLA

Hi guys, it's Kayla again! You must be getting sick of me *wink* I'm here to show some layouts I created with CLEO. This was our January TSK kit.  There are still some of these kits available in the store. I was inspired to scrapbook these pages when I saw this photo on my desk of my Mum holding my niece and I knew I also had a gorgeous photo of my Mum holding my son Elijah in the tulips. I realised that mother's day is coming up so I have created these pages to frame for my Mum of her two grandchildren. Nothing beats a handmade gift I say!

Do you handmade gifts for mother's day?

This first page is the one of my Mum with niece Chloe. I loved this picture taken way back at my engagement party so it is an older picture but a very cute one. The floral embellishment on the bottom left of the photo was actually an oval piece from the ephemera pack. I really didn't like it on the blue oval so I cut out the floral and used it as an embellishment that way. I have used a mixture of alphabets. The gold stickers are from CLEO however the grey woodgrain thickers are from the January PLK kit  which is unfortunately sold out.

I used these cute little ice cream icons because I thought they just added a little bit of whimsical to the page. I combined that with some more gorgeous ephemera and a gold glittered heart and rhinestone from the January BPK kit ORLA. There are still some left of that kit in the store here.

A last little peek at this page. I have used some evergreen bough distress stain from Tim Holtz to add some splatters, a gold doily from ORLA and some other assorted bits and pieces including tissue paper from the kit wrapping!

Now I can share with you the second page I created. I can't decide which one is my favourite. I am bit biased with this one because it is the cutest picture of my Mum and my son and I tend to lean towards the more boyish colours. Also this page has that GORGEOUS gold pineapple that I was hoarding. It took a lot of courage to stick it down on the page and not hoard it forever!

I picked out of the ephemera and sticker sheet the more gender neutral/boyish tones. I love the glasses and the 'shine like a diamond'.  I also included from my own stash a flair and a wood veneer banner and lots of bits and pieces from ORLA.

I love how this little cluster turned out and as I mentioned I used that gorgeous pineapple. I just love it and pineapples are mine and Elijah's thing. I craved them during my pregnancy with him and have loved them ever since...before they became cool ;)

Here's another little lucky last peek at my layout. I can't wait to frame these for my Mum and I hope she likes them.

Much love,

TSK CLEO & BPK ORLA ~ MISS HOLLY ~ SOPHIE

Hey everyone, it's Sophie here again with another layout using Cleo, plus some bits and pieces from Orla. I still have so much more left of these kits which I will most definitely use up.
I played around for a while and ended up creating a gradient effect with just some of the die-cuts from the Dear Lizzy ephemera pack. I really love the look of grouping colours together, no that I do it often, I think it might be my new go to technique. Maybe.

I mentioned in the video this month that I created a few different backgrounds using watercolour, this was one of them. I was afraid using so many paper die-cuts on one layout might look a little flat, so I used a variation of mounted tape and regular tape to adhere them.

I also added some stitching to some of the ephemera pieces to add more texture and dimension, as well as including some gems and glitter hearts from the BPK. Featuring multiple textures will also prevent your layout from looking plain.

Thanks for popping by today everyone, I hope you have been inspired. There are still a few of both these kits available in the store so be sure to snatch one up before they're gone.

I can't wait to start creating with the new kits. Until then, happy scrapping,

TSK CLEO ~ SWEET CHILD OF MINE ~ KAYLA

Hello there, it's Kayla again! This time with a traditional scrapbook layout.
Let me say, once again I have impressed myself (trying not to be cocky) by making a boyish layout from a girly kit. Just showing you boy mummas out there that it can be done. I was selective with the die cuts I chose and I even grabbed the gelatos out for a play. I am losing my fear of using them slowly and I really love how this one turned out.

If you watch the below process video you will see a little bit of how I created this gelato background. It was inspired by the lovely Wilna Fustenberg. She does lovely things with watercolours and mixed media techniques. The idea of this layout was to create a layering of the lovely die cuts you get in the kit. I selected quite a few of the more blueish toned die cuts out of the pack.

I used a mixture of alphas. The gold alphas are from the CLEO kit however the grey woodgrain alphas were left over from the gorgeous NOVA kit and I thought they looked so cute combined. To add some extra texture and another element I got my dusty sewing machine out of hiding the stitched over them. I really like how it looks over chipboard thickers.

I have typed my journalling using my trusty typewriter and stamped the date using my Heidi Swapp date stamp. I love the script of the months on this stamp. I have also added one of the gold glittered circle tags as a layer behind my photo. So cute. The wood dots are from an older BPK Kit ~ Hunter.

A little look at the top of the layout. The wood banner and flair are from my personal stash but I thought that they accented the page well. I love how to ORLA kit worked so well with this kit also. I pulled a lot of gold in and think it finishes off well with the gold foiling of the die cut.

I hope you enjoyed this look at my layout.

Much love.

TSK CLEO ~ HELLO DARLING ~ SOPHIE

Hi everyone. I'm back with my first layout using January's gorgeous TSK, Cleo. I know I say this every month but this one may have to be my favourite kit so far. I adore this range by Dear Lizzy. The colour scheme is so fresh and funky, I especially love the navy.

For this layout I was inspired by the geometric hearts I've been seeing all over Pinterest leading up to Valentine's Day. I decided to put my own spin on the design and create a chevron effect at the top of the heart shape.

I decided to add one of the little ephemera heart in between the paper clip, which I thought was clever and looks super cute.

I used my machine to stitch around each of the triangles, which I think really finishes it off. I also left some threads loose to create a messy, whimsy feel.

I like everyone single one of the ephemera pieces but I especially LOVE the ones with phrases on them.  As a designer and lover of typography they made me happy. I think the 'X O X O' is my favourite. The gradients and choose of typeface just makes my heart happy.

For your entertainment I also create a process video.

Thanks for stopping by today.
Happy Scrapping,
