PLK JULIETTE ~ WEEK 8 ~ KAYLA

Hi it's Kayla here and I want to share my first Project Life spread using the February kits but mostly using the PRETTY LITTLE KIT ~ JULIETTE! Firstly I want to start out by saying I scrapped a spread that wasn't love themed in the lovey dovey valentines type of way. I have scrapbooked about how much I love my son, how much I love my coffee, how much I loved a day out with the family. There are so many things to love and that is why this kit is so versatile.

This was my WEEK 8 in my 2015 Project Life album. Yay! for being up to date Well I was when I scrapped this spread anyway.

Here's the process video showing you how this spread came together.

and some close ups...

I had a couple too many photos for this spread but not that many that I needed an extra insert so I use my Snap! 3x4 flip pockets to add some extra cards/photos underneath to give me that little extra space. Underneath this photo I used another photo of my son sitting on one of the fibreglass cows and journalling about out little adventure.

Another flip pocket however this time it documents some fun in the sun! This is probably the last time my son has been outside for water play since the cold has set in.  It also gives you a close up of the filler card I made using those three hearts. I was inspired by the little conversation heart brads to make this filler using some word stickers from the sticker sheet!

My weekly tile card. I used some Picked Raspberry Distress Stain to create a 'splatter' ad added a simple floral diet cut, some pebbles heart epoxy stickers and the title plus I used my favourite Heidi Swapp date stamp.

I found these LOVE scrabble tiles in the die cut pack and I thought they fitted well right over the centre of the photos stitched down. I documented about my love for coffee. It is not unusual for me to have over 10 cups a day. Eek!

Here's a look at the top right corner. I used the top right card as a little filler/journalling card and opted for some handwritten journalling for this one which I think makes it even that little bit more special. I also really like the filler card I made on that gorgeous black arrow card, I used one of those pretty gold foiled vellum hearts!

And one last little look at the page.
I hope you enjoyed see another project I have created with the kits.

Much love,

PLK JULIETTE ~ WEEK 6 ~KAYLA

Hi guys! It's Kayla here back again with my SECOND Project Life spread for the month using the gorgeous JULIETTE kit. I was challenging myself to 'kill a kit' basically. It's sort of a term for using AS MUCH of a kit as you can unit you dwindle it down to the last alpha. I didn't have any trouble at all though getting another spread out of the kit. Mind you I did combine all three kits to work from.

This is my my WEEK SIX in my 2015 Project Life album and I chose this week specifically because it was the week valentines feel so I was able to use some of those Valentines stickers and believe me I used as many as I could.

Here's the process video.

I once again used lift up cards on this spread just to add a couple of extras. I was going mad on colour sorting my scrapbooking stash this week so I had photos of my sequins getting colour sorted and a big stack of 12x12 papers that I had sorted. It was a lot of work but I found things I had lost for years!

This was my little valentines cards and I added cluster with a few of the valentines themed things. I also added the 'merci' phrase thicker from the TSK BELLA kit as it was leftover and thought it fit well with a thanks for this lovely valentines gift from my partner. My favourite little it of this card is that itty bitty cute conversation heart brad. They melt my heart.

I used that gorgeous gold lips card as my journalling card for the week. I used some Picked Raspberry distress stain and Heidi Swapp Black Velvet Colour Shine to add ink splatters and typed my journalling using the typewriter. I did place a little word sticker 'xoxoxo' in between the lips because I thought that was rather cute.

Here's a last little close up of my spread. I love the top right photo of my puppy and I. I was trying to get a nice 'selfie' with her and it was just a massive fail but I love that I caught one of her 'kissing' me on the cheek. She is adorable.

Hope you enjoyed!

Much love,

PLK JULIETTE ~ WEEK 3 ~ ADELE

Hey hey hey scrappy peeps!

It's Adele back with a PLK based double page spread for you today using the PLK Juliette as well as some bits from BPK Valerie and TSK Bella.

I had such fun with the soft feminine tones of these kits and FREAKING ADORED all the embellishments included. I used lots of the Crate Paper Kiss Kiss Ephemera Pack from TSK, that packet of bits and pieces is absolutely EXPLODING with goodies. Such much value in that lil ol' pack! *dances happily*

It was a close call between which alpha I liked most this month - those darling Pink Paislee Bella Rouge Acetate Alphas (from BPK) or the Crate Paper Kiss Kiss Thickers in Dark Grey Foam (from PLK)...

I loved adding a few different embellishment clusters this week, bringing in pieces from all three kits as well as my trusty go to bits and bobs from my stash (wood veneer hearts, enamel dots and tiny word stickers).

I hope you enjoyed my second layout on the blog this month....and heeeeeeere is a matching process video!

*stay tuned for an upcoming TSK process video later this week!*

TSK BELLA + PLK JUILETTE + BPK VALERIE ~ CHLOE BEAR ~ KAYLA

Kayla back again and I am on a roll this month! I have created another layout (no process video this time) I made this one late at night and I had all the supplies left over from the kit sitting on my desk. I also had this little photo of myself and my niece from my engagement party and it's rare for me to get a photo with her (I am usually behind the camera) so I really wanted to get this one in the scrapbook. I loved using all these ephemera bits to create a layout about a little girl I love dearly.

I used a mixture of alphabets. The CHLOE is from the BPK VALERIE kit and the BEAR is from the PLK JULIETTE kit. I love how these two alphas work together. I have also used my favourite Heidi Swapp date stamp.

I loved the beautiful 'shine' title word from the Dear Lizzy gold foam words. I love the font, it is so beautiful. I have always been a Dear Lizzy fan. I did a cluster of items on the left hand side of the photo. I loved the floral heart and the little paint chip that says 'cuddle'. It was perfect for this layout where I am having a cuddle with this gorgeous girl.

One last little peek at the layout. I have pulled from my stash some of the My Minds Eye wood dots because I thought they worked really well with the papers and the collection as a whole. I have punched the butterflies from the gorgeous speciality gold/white stripe paper in the TSK kit.

I hope you enjoyed a look at this quick layout I put together.

We love to see what you are doing with the kits, so be sure to share them over on our Facebook page.

Much love,

PLK JULIETTE - WEEK 38 - NAE

Hey guys,
So guess what?? I DID SOME PL!! I found some time on the weekend to dig into the fabulous new PLK for February JULIETTE!! I just love all the beautiful valentine like cards that are in this kit but today I wanted to show you something a little different. I didn't PL Valentines week, I actually scrapped a week from last year, my birthday week.

 photo 1_zpsa1p7ikcc.jpg

I absolutely fell in love with the bright pinks and the watercolour look of some of the cards. Mixed it in with the gold hand painted looking cards and some woodgrain and that was my inspiration for this double page spread.

 photo 2_zpsbupxmdcy.jpg

I don't know what it was about this spread but I just felt the need to embellish EVERYTHING (thanks Adele lol). I usually leave a photo or two but everything ended up with something. Some photos you cant even see at all because of the amount of thickers and what not I placed over them. Oh well, I love it (thanks Adele).

 photo 3_zpsugfpphjw.jpg

So this is my title card. I love the colours and the layered effect. I had a bit of trouble of it in the beginning because there was just no space to write anything so I have to pull in a label from a Studio Calico sticker sheet to create a little bit of space. I loved mixing both alphas from the PLK and the BPK this month!! They just worked so well together!!

 photo 4_zpshfezwyub.jpg

I knew I wanted to use some of the stunning tags from the BPK Valerie as well and so I used the blue watercolour card and a collection of stickers from the Kiss Kiss sticker sheet to layer up a love card. The 14 embellishments don't have to be used just for valentines day. My birthday is on the 14th of September and so these cards and embellishments just worked perfectly throughout my layout.

 photo 5_zpsy0xl19rn.jpg

I also dug into the little banners from the BPK Valerie and layered them on some of the ephemera from the TSK Bella. I also added some of the gold phrase stickers from one of our first kits ever, our BPK Gloria. I just love this little embellishment cluster and works so well on the bright greens of the rainforest.

 photo 6_zpsdkydmqdw.jpg

I also enjoyed layering stickers and ephemera together. They were the same image, just in two different forms and I love the shadowed effect the two create. I really enjoyed layering and embellishment clustering on this layout (if you hadn't already figured it out).

And finally, if you want to check out how I did all of this, here is my process video that you can find on our Scrappery Youtube Channel. We are so blessed to have over 2000 subscribers now! We love making these videos for you and love the support every single one of us on The Scrappery Team receive. Thank you so much for your patience and support guys. I hope you enjoyed this layout and Ill be back in a week with another layout.

PLK JULIETTE ~ PL WEEK 2 ~ ADELE

Hello fellow scrappy peeps!

It's Adele back with another PL layout for you using the new PLK Juliette, which is jam packed of gorgeous lovey goodies.

First of all, as usual, I flipped through the gorgeous exclusive Scrappery designed cards. This layout is week 2 in my 2015 PL album (yes, I am a tad behind hehe) and consists of a Design A on the left and a insert Design G on the right, as this week will be continued for another two pages...due to my obsessive photo taking ;P I find the Design G super helpful in adding extra photos, especially vertical 4"x6".

I adore the new Crate Paper Kiss Kiss stickers included in the kit and scattered these throughout the kit, pairing them with the Kiss Kiss ephemera pack from my TSK Bella, as well as some enamel dots and tiny word stickers from my stash.

The Crate Paper Kiss Kiss Thickers are such a lovely grey font, I am rather partial to a nice lowercase thicker hehe. I used them in several spots on the layout, including the title card, as well as this card documenting my One Little Word for 2015.

I really enjoyed working with the colours of this kit, although I used to not be a girly pink kind of gal, I LOVEEEEE pink now hehe!

Ummm is anyone else OBSESSED with these amazing sweet heart brads!! Adore them! Hoarding alert....

I hope you enjoyed my take on the darling PLK Juliette, head over to the Scrappery store to get your own little beauty!
