"Love" Card - Lydia

Good morning beautiful people, Lydia back today to share a card with you as I am on the last leg of my December "Nigella" kits. That can only mean one thing, new kits will be sent soon!!

Now this card is perfect to go with a sweet Valentines present or just as a normal card. I love how versatile these kits are for many occasions.

This was a very simple card using very little paper, a piece of a doily, puffy stickers and washi tape.

I added this left over piece of doily to add a delicate feel to the card. I also added a few of the beautiful puffy stickers from the "Moonstruck" collection.

I finished the layout off with a few of the KaiserCraft Rhinestones.

I hope you all enjoyed with cute and simple card and I will be back next week to share another creation hopefully with the new kits.

"LOVE" - Lydia

Good morning beautiful Scrappery peeps, Happy Sunday! Am I glad that it is the weekend and the first week down of school. This past week I started Grade 11 so it's been quite crazy. But today I am sharing another 12x12 layout using the December "Nigella" kits.

I had seen someone cut this constellation paper into the circle and I loved it so I decided to use that, add my photo to the top right corner of the circle and add a floral cluster down in the bottom left corner.

I love adding a little bit of texture with some whit thread behind my photo and clusters, because you all know I love clusters haha.

Now at first I wasn't to fussed on the cork and gold glitter embellishment stickers. This was because I found they were chunky and big to what I am compared to what I like to use but I really like the contrast of the cork brown against the navy blue.

This layout defiantly isn't the clean and white space type of layout I love to create but I knew I had to change it up a bit to use this constellation paper. So in the bottom left corner on the edge of the circle and the little white space I had I added some fussy cut florals and some small embellishments to form a cluster to make the layout balanced.

I added two of the beautiful puffy stickers, some washi from the washi sheets, a label and the pink butterfly rub-on.

And to finish the layout off I added some of the KaiserCraft gold splatters using the spray that came in the TCK (The Colour Kit). I hope you all like this layout and I will be back next week for another layout.

"Dream" - Lydia

It's Sunday, which means another layout from me. Today I am using the new "Nigella" kits again which as I have mentioned before I am in love with.

So here is this weeks layout. This weeks layout I feature the gorgeous die cut 12x12 sheet this is in the kit. Now this has a bright mint colour ide and the white side, I personally liked the white on white look.

I love, love these Pink Paislee "Moonstruck" cork words and shapes, so I decided to use the dream as my title. And I love how these cork embellishments have gold glitter in them too. I also added a little puffy sticker under the title also.

Now you all know I love my little clusters. I used some of the "Moonstruck" rub-on's and put them on some white cardstock and fussy cut them out so that they had more of a 3D look. I also added some of the beautiful gold sequins.

With this die cut 12x12 piece defiantly wanted to back the butterflies with some of the patterned paper. I love how the page just came together once I had backed some of the butterflies.

And last but not least another cluster up on the left hand side with a little tab, puffy sticker and some gold sequins.

I hope you have all started/have your new kits and be sure to share what you create over in the Facebook group.

Have a wonderful week ahead.

Pepper 12x12 Layout - with Lisa

Hi there
Today I am sharing a 12x12 layout I have created using the "Nigella" Kits.
I am so in love with these kits, Ronelle has done an amazing job.
Pink Paislee "Moonstruck" collection is the main feature & it is just gorgeous.'

The photo is of our gorgeous four legged friend "Pepper" We have had Pepper for almost 3 years now, she will be turning 6. She is a Spoodle, She has such a gorgeous nature - we love her to bits.
As you can see she is very black! So hard to photograph!

I started with a white card stock base as I knew I wanted to do a little bit of white on white with the doily. I also knew I wanted to fussy cut some of the gorgeous flowers from the floral patterned paper.

I cut a 3inch strip of the Navy dot paper, then cut it in 1/2 on the diagonal.
I used some of the thin washi from the kits to create a further border which gives definition to the layout.

Here is a look at the detail, I used lots of the rub-ons, to create the continuity of the floral pieces.

I hope you've enjoyed my share today!

Make sure you check out our kits as they are excellent value.
