TSK ALICE & BPK MAUDE ~ ALL SUITED UP ~ SOPHIE

Hey hey everyone. It's Sophie here with a layout using two of the May kits featuring the ever so lovely range from Jen Hadfield. This month I was back to playing with the TSK and BPK.

Despite the florals and pinks featured in this kit I decided to create more of a masculine layout and use a photo of my brother, Max.
I started by using the mask in the BPK to create a very subtle background. I sprayed some mist over it onto another piece of cardstock, then took the mask and pressed it over this piece.

Behind my photo I used some of the papers from the TSK as well as a tag which (I think) came in the Bits and Pieces Kit, Maude. The doily and film strip were from my stash.

I don't know if you've notice but I don't often use Thickers and make titles on my layouts. Not only do I not know what to put as the title, but most of the time I don't know where to put it. I don't design layouts with a place for a title in mind and when I finish it I can't find the right place to put it.
To create this title I used the Thickers from the kit as well some tiny alphas. These ones are from the Confetti sticker sheet which was in April's PLK.

To embellish I used the glitter chevron arrows and the enamel chevron stickers from the BPK.
I also added some tiny word stickers which I'm obsessing over still. This photo was taken before the Deb Ball which my brother was in, if you're wondering why I chose to use this phrase.

I will be back soon with a more feminine layout, and hopefully a process video.
Until then, happy scrapping!

A LITTLE NOTE ABOUT NEW SUBSCRIPTIONS....

Hi there lovelies.

It's Kayla here and I just wanted to pop by and leave a little note about any new subscriptions.
We have been overflowed with emails about how to get a subscription to The Scrappery.

I just want to first THANK everyone that has been supporting us over the last few months. We have received so many subscriptions that we have simply run out of spaces and just had to something we didn't want to do and start a waiting list.
The reason for this is because behind the scenes, Renae and I are making and designing kits months in advance in line with new manufacturer releases to make sure you are getting the latest and greatest and because we order so far in advance we only order so many so we aren't simply left with a lot of out dated stock.

Anyway to cut a long story short we are accepting new subscriptions by email waiting list. You can email us on scrappery@gmail.com with which kits you would like to go on the waiting list for, your name, address and email.

At the moment we have been able to accommodate EVERYONE on the waiting list for the next kit besides a few waiting for PLK kits.

We once again thank everyone for the high demand of subscriptions we have received and we are happy to tell you that we have upped the numbers of ordered kits for the coming months sot here will be plenty for subscriptions and sale night.

Speaking of which I have released TWO sneak pictures on our Facebook page today for our upcoming release.
Keep your eyes peeled for release night *wink*

Also check out our YouTube channel. We always have a lot going on there. We have been a little absent while Nae has been getting married and I have been travelling and SICK. Ewww...go away winter I say.

See you next time!

TSK INDI ~ HAPPINESS ~ ADELE

Hiiiii!! *big wave*

Today I have a rad layout using the lovely TSK Indi which was bursting with Crate Paper...woop woop!! You lucky ducks are in for a treat, becuase there's a process video too :)

I used a Kaisercraft script stencil from my stash to add some interest to the background first using modelling paste, then piled on the Crate Paper goodness.

I absolutely adore the floral elements included in the ephemera pack and knew straight away I could use this floral-ly (yes, that's a word now) selfie.

Um, I have to admit...I can never get sick of Crate Paper and they have hit it out of the park with these past two collections, Craft Market and Confetti. I can't choose between them - they're like my children, I can't have a favourite!

I hope you enjoy this little process video, and stay tuned for some new layouts using the April kits and also May! Yippee!

PLK FAITH ~ 20 ~ SOPHIE

Hey y'all, guess who's back? I'm here with a layout using the March PLK, Faith! I just had enough left over from my mini album to create this layout. I probably even have enough for another layout. I have so much ephemera left over.

While creating my mini album I decided I wanted to use this colour scheme in my next layout. Kind of obsessed with this colour palette at the moment. Check out my Pinterest feed if you need proof.
I think this would've looked a lot better with a black and white photo. I just didn't have any with me.

The patterned paper I used was cut up left overs from my mini album. A had a couple of 6x4 cards left over but I didn't choose to use them.

I also added a peg from the BPK, Aria and a tiny word sticker from the Confetti range. These weren't available in the March kits but you can find them the April BPK. Yay, now I have two packs. That was not sarcastic by the way.

Ok, so here's the thing. I did make a process video but the internet on my laptop has completely stopped working. Which is just what you need during the last week of Uni right? And when you have a video to upload. It's been like that all week so hopefully it will start working again soon and I can share it with you.

Thanks for stopping by today,

TSK INDI ~ BUT FIRST LET ME TAKE A SELFIE ~ ADELE

What's happening scrapping lovelies?!

Hello, hello, I am back today with my blog post using the March TSK Indi (WHICH WAS SO FREAKING AWESOME!).

I adored all the Crate Paper goodies and have had a ball playing with the goodies from the Confetti and Craft Market collections.

When I saw the beautiful floral Crate Paper paper (hehe) I knew I wanted to scrap this photo and echo the floral piece in my hair. I added some water colour pencils to the background to make a soft, feminine feel and use the alphas from the Crate Paper Confetti sticker sheet and the Adorn Thickers in the TSK to spell out my song title.

I was super excited to get these gorrrrgeous Confetti embellished pockets the the BPK Aria this month and further decorated one use elements from the Confetti ephemera pack and sticker sheet, as well as one of the gold glitter clothes pegs. This layout was gold to the max!!

I added the number 2 as this selfie was taken just before I had a photoshoot for a friend's wedding photography business with my hubby.

Finally, I added a few finishing details including those amazing Crate Paper word stickers (UM, OBSESSED!) and a roller stamp and Heidi Swapp gold colour shine from my stash.

I will be back later in the week with a process video for you on my next layout, stay tuned and have a lovely week! xxx

PLK FAITH ~ MINI ALBUM ~ SOPHIE

Hello everyone! Today I'm so excited to share with you this little mini album I created using the PLK,  Faith. I won't be creating with the TSK this month which is totally fine with me because this kit is AMAZINGLY gorgeous. I'm so happy I got the chance to play with it instead. The Confetti range is so fun. I love the colours, the motifs and those tiny word are to die for.

Project Life cards are so perfect for making mini albums and I found decorating it is much like embellishing your PL spreads. Not that I've ever done any project lifing before. As this kit is themed around birthday and parties and all that good stuff I decided to scrap some photo's from a little photo shoot I had on my birthday. It was so cold that day. I don't remember the last time I wore jeans and it rained on my birthday, if ever.

Below I added a wood veneer arrow from the BPK, Aria. That gorgeous glitter heart is also from the Bits and Piece's Kit.

I made a pocket to insert journalling cards into, and also included one from the BPK.

I can totally see why all you PLer's love label and tiny word stickers. I loved layering them as you can probably see. I am officially obsessed. My tiny word stickers are from the Confetti collection which were already in my stash.

I was at Uni when I created this so unfortunately not within reach of a sewing machine. Otherwise, I would've sewed the hell out of this album. Maybe I will when I get home.
This is a pocket from the BPK which I am going to add a journaling card too.

I also created a very long process video. At the end I do I flicked through of the album for you to get a better idea of what it looks like all together so you can jump to that if you don't want to hear me ramble on for 18 minutes. If you do make sure you grab yourselves a cuppa. Hope you enjoy it.

Thanks for stopping by today,

TSK BELLA ~ HUSKY LOVE ~ KAYLA

Hi guys. It 's Kayla here with another layout post for you. This time using TSK Bella again from our lovely February kits. I actually thought I was done with the kits and then I had printed out this picture of me hugging a husky at a local fair. I rarely scrapbook pages with me in them and I thought it was about time and anyone that knows me knows that I absolutely love dogs.
I think it's kind of funny..we have Nae our cat lover, Adele the bunny lover and me the puppy lover!

So anyway these gorgeous papers and embellishments were left over from the kit and so I put together this layout and I love how it turned out...

I even managed to film a process video for this one. It's on my own personal channel which you
can get to by clicking the link.

and now for some close ups...

I used some of the lovely grey foam thickers left over from Juliette the PLK kit. These are just stunning and I think I have found a new love for foam thickers recently.

I also added some stitching using my sewing machine. I usually use a straight stitch but I decide to mix things up a little and add some zig zag stitching. I also used my Tim Holtz picked raspberry distress stain that I have been obsessed with and used on every layout this month I think.

So that's it for my last layout using the kit.
This has been one of my favourite kits in a very long time.

I hope if you managed to get your hands on one that you have enjoyed having a play.

We actually also have some February BPK kits left in the store and they are reduced by ten dollars. They won't last long so be quick!!

TSK BELLA ~ W & S ~ SOPHIE

Hello hello! Oh my goodness, these kits are full of so much love! So many hearts, pinks and reds and the word 'love' that I decided I had no choice but to continue to document it. This time I'm scrapbooking this photo from my uncles wedding. I just love the contrast in this picture. So perfect for scrapbooking.

That Aztec printed paper was by far my favourite in to the kit so I wanted to feature it a little more on this layout. I added some texture paste over it to mute it a little and blend it into the white cardstock.  I then applied some extra paste and some Heidi Swapp Colour Shine over my dotted Heidi Swapp mask. And of course I had to finish it off with some ink splatters.

I also added some tiny rub-ons from the BPK amongst the splatters which really added something extra to the layout.

As well as products from the two kits I also used some washi tape and some We Are Memory Keepers transparency behind my photo. Not that I needed to. I still have so much more of Bella and Valerie left over. What about you?

Thanks for stopping by the blog today.
I hope you love the new March kit's as much as I do. Can't wait to start playing with them.
Talk to you soon,

PLK JULIETTE ~ WEEK 8 ~ KAYLA

Hi it's Kayla here and I want to share my first Project Life spread using the February kits but mostly using the PRETTY LITTLE KIT ~ JULIETTE! Firstly I want to start out by saying I scrapped a spread that wasn't love themed in the lovey dovey valentines type of way. I have scrapbooked about how much I love my son, how much I love my coffee, how much I loved a day out with the family. There are so many things to love and that is why this kit is so versatile.

This was my WEEK 8 in my 2015 Project Life album. Yay! for being up to date Well I was when I scrapped this spread anyway.

Here's the process video showing you how this spread came together.

and some close ups...

I had a couple too many photos for this spread but not that many that I needed an extra insert so I use my Snap! 3x4 flip pockets to add some extra cards/photos underneath to give me that little extra space. Underneath this photo I used another photo of my son sitting on one of the fibreglass cows and journalling about out little adventure.

Another flip pocket however this time it documents some fun in the sun! This is probably the last time my son has been outside for water play since the cold has set in.  It also gives you a close up of the filler card I made using those three hearts. I was inspired by the little conversation heart brads to make this filler using some word stickers from the sticker sheet!

My weekly tile card. I used some Picked Raspberry Distress Stain to create a 'splatter' ad added a simple floral diet cut, some pebbles heart epoxy stickers and the title plus I used my favourite Heidi Swapp date stamp.

I found these LOVE scrabble tiles in the die cut pack and I thought they fitted well right over the centre of the photos stitched down. I documented about my love for coffee. It is not unusual for me to have over 10 cups a day. Eek!

Here's a look at the top right corner. I used the top right card as a little filler/journalling card and opted for some handwritten journalling for this one which I think makes it even that little bit more special. I also really like the filler card I made on that gorgeous black arrow card, I used one of those pretty gold foiled vellum hearts!

And one last little look at the page.
I hope you enjoyed see another project I have created with the kits.

Much love,
