Dream Big - 12x12 Layout with Lisa

Hi there
Lisa here today to share a 12x12 layout I've created using the "Lilly kits"

This kit is so gorgeous - it features lots of Cocoa Vanilla "Make a Wish" product. It has so many soft pretty florals.

I knew I wanted to focus on the florals & the chipboard frames in the kit.

I created a soft water colour background to help bring everything together.

I love that the same elements are repeated in vellum & paper so when you create layers - it adds such fabulous dimension.

I love, love, love the Pink Fresh studio puffy sequins - they compliment the collection beautifully.

I hope you have enjoyed checking out my layout.

Make sure you pop by the shop to see what's in store & check out our kits!

"Oh Deer" - Lydia

Merry Christmas!!
Today is the day to be spending time with family and enjoying those special moments, or you could be hiding in your craft room.

Lydia here back to share another Christmas 12x12 layout using the Traditional Kit. I hope you are all having/had a wonderful Christmas day.  I have to say this layout is full on Christmassy and I love how it turned out.

So the main feature on this layout is the fringed Christmas tree. I used strips of most of the patterned paper in this kit and fringed every singe piece with a normal pair of scissors. Lets just say my hands were a little sore afterwards.

I than added one of the Elle's Studio embellishment stars with one of the puffy stickers also.

And at the bottom of the tree I added a few piece of embellishments with some gold enamel dots.

The title for this layout came from the photo of myself with a Snapchat deer filter, which I thought was Christmassy as I have no Christmas photos printed.

As you would of seen in the full layout photo there is a sewn circle around the whole page. I did try and do three clusters which included the one at the bottom of the tree, this one below with the pink heart and the one in the top left corner.

And so this is the top left corner cluster which has a doily, tag, notebook paper, embellishments and some puffy stickers.

I hope you all have/had a very Merry Christmas and I hope you enjoyed this layout. I will be back soon with more creations.

Decorated Light Box Display - with Lisa

Hi there.
Lisa here today sharing an "off the page project" using one of the December Days kits.

I wanted to make this gorgeous acetate sheet from Pink Fresh Studios really stand out & not lose its momentum by cutting it up.
I thought hmmm I wonder if it would fit in my light box...it did, so excited that it fit! I got the light box from Kmart (it comes with some quotes - that slide in & out)

Here are some close ups...I used lots of the goodies from the December Days Funky Kit.

The red, teal & elements in the kit are so beautiful.

Here is a shot of the light box on in the evening...sorry the photo isn't great, it's quite hard to photograph. Hopefully you get the idea.

I hope you've enjoyed my share.
Have a Merry Christmas everyone. I hope you enjoy your time with family & friends.

"Joy" - Lydia

Well it is the week of Christmas.
Hello, Lydia back to share a Christmas layout using the Traditional Christmas kit, which is packed full of Elle's Studio 'Tis The Season' collection.

I have to say this is my first every Christmas themed 12x12 layout. I know that sounds crazy but it is. I love how this layout turned out as well as a second layout which I will share on the weekend.

I did do some clusters which I think attracts your eye around the page.

I used a lot of the Elle's Studio cardstock embellishment pieces to make those clusters. I also used a few red enamel dots from my dash as a finishing touch.

And yes the main feature of a deer which I love how it turned out. I simply just printed off a silhouette of a deer a traced it onto the patterned paper. I defiantly what t use this technique a lot more on many layouts.

I hope like this layout and I will be back to share another Christmas layout with you all at the end of the week.

"#Art Squad" - Lydia

Hey everyone, Lydia back with another layout using the "Lilly" kits. I have to say this layout is very embellishment heavy and full on, compared with my fresh and clean look.

This title was defiantly appropriate for this photo. As these are the girls that were my arty buddy in Art class this past year.

I did a fair few layers behind my photo. I added about 2 patterned paper layers and a tag that all came in the kits. I also used a full 4x6 photo as I normally like to use little photos.

I did do a bit of sewing on this layout of a massive circle which you can see in the design from the full layout photo.

I than went around the sewing circle with little clusters of embellishments. I use chipboard sticker, vellum shapes, flairs, wood veneer, mini flowers and a few other bits and pieces.

So here are a few more close ups of the embellishment clusters around the page.

I hope you like my layout and I will be back very soon with more creations.

Live Colorfully - Claudia

Hello everyone! It's Claudia here with my first blog post here over at the Scrappery! I'm so excited to be back! Today I'm sharing a layout I created with the gorgeous Lilly kits. These kits are filled with amazing goodies, mostly from the beautiful Cocoa Vanilla Make A Wish collection, so there were a ton of options for me to choose from. Sometimes it can be a bit hard for me to decide what to use first when there are so many things, so what helps for me is to find a certain embellishment I know I definitely want to use and then pick embellishments / colors that match with that.

For this layout I knew I wanted to use this die cut word that says 'Live Colorfully' and as you can see it has some pink, blue (or teal) and yellow on it. As much as I love pink, I wanted to create a layout that didn't have a whole lot of pink in it so I went through all the embellishments and set aside the ones that were blue / teal.

I like to do a lot layering behind my photo because it allows me to tuck little things in between them later on. I always go through the papers and see which ones match my color scheme and then start working on my layers. For this layout I tore up the edges, because it makes them look a little more interesting.

My layout is quite colorful so that's why I decided to use a black and white photo - I sometimes find it hard to find a matching photo in color when I'm using a lot of colors on the layout so I decided that a black and white photo is the way to go for me.

I love adding little pops of color to my layout and the Pinkfresh Studio Sequin Puffy Stickers that came in the BPK Lilly kit are perfect to do just that.

Thank you so much for joining me today, I hope you enjoyed seeing this layout and that you feel inspired to create. Make sure to check out these lovely kits here if you haven't done so already. Have a great day!

xoxo Claudia

Sweet Mini Card Set - with Lisa

Hi there
Lisa here today to share some cute little 3x3 cards that I have made using the gorgeous Cocoa Vanilla goodies from the "Lilly Kits"

I participated in a card swap on a Facebook Happy Mail group, the brief was to make 7 sets of 3 cards ....each to be 3x3 and the theme was Pastel & generic.
So what better papers to fit the pastel brief than these gorgeous goodies from Cocoa Vanilla - "Make a Wish" collection!

I used a great selection of papers from the kits. To make the goodies go further, I pulled out some of my paper punches. Punches are one of those items I have lots of & don't always use.

As you can see I used my bow, leaf, heart & butterfly punches.

I kept the cards pretty clean & simple as the paper is so beautiful.
I love, love, love the sequin collection in these kits - it's my fave to date.
I used some of the doilies from the kit, the sweet little blossoms, glittery enamel dots & oh those puffy dots!

I inked all my edges on my squares of paper & on the punched shapes to help give definition.
I also brushed some perfect pearls powder on to the punched shapes & flowers to add a little but of shimmer.

I hope you've enjoyed my post today & pop over to The Scrappery shop to check out the kits & all of the goodies.

"Hello Beautiful" - Lydia

Hello scrappy peeps, Lydia back to share another layout using this months "Lilly" TSK and BPK. I am still in complete love with these kits.

Here is a close up of the title. I used a Cocoa Vanilla Studio wood veneer and one of the exclusive Corbett Creations chipboard words, which I pimped with some white gesso so that it had a white on white look.

The top left corner I added a few little embellishments including another Cocoa Vanilla Studio wood veneer, chipboard piece and one of the vellum shapes.

Behind my photo I didn't do any paper layering but I did add some sort of layering. I added on of the gorgeous paper doilies which comes in the kits and also added a frame type piece from the Cocoa Vanilla Studio chipboard sheet.

I also did a little bit of fussy cutting for those beautiful tiny florals off one of the papers. I added yet another Cocoa Vanilla Studio wood veneer and vellum shape.

Here is a photo of the main cluster about a quarter of the way from the bottom of the layout.

And lastly I added these cute blue Cocoa Vanilla Studio chipboard photo corners to the top right and bottom left corners of the whole layout.

Thank you for stoping by to have a peek at my layout and I hope you enjoyed.

Dec 2016 Layout with Lisa using the December Days Traditional Kit

Hi, Lisa here today sharing a 12x12 layout using the gorgeous December Days -Traditional Kit.

I might have got all 3 kits eeek ...well I do love them all!
This kit is packed with so many goodies lots from Elle's Studio.

Here is the layout...

It's a pretty clean & simple layout that will probably be a title page in my album.
I just did a bit of a photo shoot with some bits & pieces I have bought this year for Christmas celebrations.

I'm a big fan of acrylic pieces & I especially love the font of this one.
You can see I layered lots of pretty papers from the kit under the photo. I also added some pen outlines & red ink to some of the edges for definition - this gives the page a crisper look as lots of the colours in this collection are muted.

I also cut a doily from the kit in 1/2 and placed half on each side under the layers. Added some of the pretty ephemera pieces (stars & word strips) and some ink spots to bring it all together.

Another close up of the layers & my photo. Creating a collage in a 4x6 is a great way to show a snapshot if items or an event.

I hope you've enjoyed my share today.
Pop over to The Scrappery shop if you'd like to see what Christmas kits we have left - they are fabulous value.

"Hip Hip Hooray" Cards - Lydia

Hello beautiful souls, Lydia back today to share a pair of cute cards I made using The Scrappery "Lilly" kit, which you can you can find in The Scrappery store here.

The kits I used was the TSK & BPK and since these had the Cocoa Vanilla Studio "Make A Wish" collection I thought I would make these cards as Birthday cards.

This is the first card and I love how it turned out even though it is simple for me.

I wasn't sure if I wanted to use that gorgeous camera flair as I loved it so much, but I did and I think it was the final element that finished the card.

I added one of the beautiful delicate doilies as a layer under the chipboard piece. I also added some of the vellum Cocoa Vanilla shapes of the leaves and flower.

Then I finished this card with a few of the sequins which came in the kit.

I have to say this next card isn't my favourite but I still like it.

I used a variety of products on this card with the chipboard frame an little flowers both from Cocoa Vanilla, a little butterfly chipboard piece from Corbett Creations, little tags, the Amy Tan Thickers which comes in the TSK and some sequins and enamel dots.

I am really liking added these silver striped thickers as I don't use silver as much as I use gold.

And as I mentioned before, I used some more of the sequins and enamel dots on this card.

That is it from me friends and I will be back very soon with another creation.
