Lisa with a 12X12 Layout share using the Amora Kits

Hey There.

Lisa back again, to share a layout using the 'Amora' Kits.

Today's layout is a totally different look achieved with the same kits. I am sure you will agree these kits are at glance mostly soft florals with lots of pink and other pastels, as they contain the gorgeous Cocoa Vanilla 'Happiness' collection.

So as you can see this is a very BLUE layout, almost monochromatic. Different shades of blue with some touches if white.

I like to challenge myself and also try to think out side the square, I think it helps keep things interesting and extends the usability of a kit.

Once I decide to do a layout like this, I pick out as many papers and embellishments from the kit in this colour - I may not use them all but I have a selection to work with.

This design is very simple and clean, but still allows you to build the layers.
I basically cut each element in half and replicated it mirrored on each side.

You can see the photo is almost a little over exposed with a blue tinge, which is also accentuated by the blue surrounding it.

Punching some shapes can help increase the amount of elements you have to work with in the same colour or coordinating.

The word pieces from Cocoa Vanilla make creating a title super simple.

Here you can see I embossed the first/last layer of white card layering to add more interest and texture. It also helps everything work together more cohesively.

Some ephemera and enamel dots as always help bring everything together.

I hope you have enjoyed my share today and it encourages you to look at your kits and stash differently too.

Make sure you stop by the shop to check out all the goodies and kits available.

Have a great day :-)

'Sweet Vibes' - Lydia

Lydia, back to share my first creation using the ever beautiful Amora kits from The Scrappery. What better way to start my University holidays than be creating? It feels like a lifetime ago since I felt and played with pretty paper and embellishments.

These kits are sure are full of those girly colours, butterflies and florals. But the kits are full of tones of blues too.

Of course, layout wouldn’t be mine if I didn’t include one of the delicate doily’s.

I hope you have all received your kits and I hope to see some of your creations over on the Facebook group.

Have a lovely week lovely's.

happy BIRTHDAY - Lydia

Happy Tuesday, I hope you are all having a great week so far. I am back today here in the blog to share a quick little birthday card and tag using the Skye Kits.

While working with these kits I noticed how versatile they are and that you could easily create girl and boy projects using the colour palettes.

Can I just say how in love I am with those small alphas that are in the kit. And even better that the pack includes four different colours.

And of course I used one of my favourite delicate doilies on the card.

Here is the little tag I made alongside the card. I used one of the watercolour products that was in the mixed media kit also to add some splatters.

Again I hope you are all having a great week so far and find some time this week to do something a little creative.

Happy Mail Mondays

Stacy & the 'Skye' Kit

Hello Lovelies ... This Monday I am coming at you with something a little different ... my projects of choice for The Scrappery Design Team are Art Journaling (as you have seen on Messy Monday's on this blog) that I am a newbie to, and my other crafty passion is creating and sending out Happy Mail to people all over the world. I have been doing Happy Mail for coming up to 3 years (WOW where does the time go) and I am still very much in love with the concept as I was when I first discovered it on Pinterest. This will be my second Happy Mail I have created with the fantastic 'Skye' kit using the TSK , BPK & PAK..
This Happy Mail was sent all the way to Texas, USA.
The size is pretty much the same as a personal Travellers Notebook. I chose some digital stamps that i have in my ever-growing digital stamp library (I think i may have a problem lol) these particular digital stamps are from Tiddlyinks & I Copic coloured them to coordinate with the beautiful Cocoa Vanilla Studios 'Midnight' collection which features in the 'Skye Kits'
The very pretty and glittery Bonjour thickers which are included in the TSK make a beautiful feature of the recipients name.
This Happy Mail that I created is a tri-fold type booklet with 2 fold out's and a pocket.
With plenty of beautiful papers ( TSK )  to choose from even after already making my first Happy Mail and having the coordinating solid colour cardstock from the PAK made this project come together so easily ...

Once the foundation of the Booklet was made and I laid down all the pretty papers it was time to make it extra pretty with the Cocoa Vanilla Studio 'midnight' die cut ephemera & clear stickers included in the BPK. I used dies from my stash to cut out of scraps that I had no intentions of wasting to make little envelopes for my Happy Mail penpal ... also out of the scraps I made a little banner just cutting out small triangles and attaching them to a piece of string I had lying on my desk.

In the photo below is the first fold out (on the right ) on this page I included some more dies cut from the pattern paper & from the plain coloured cardstock. On the page in the middle, I used another digital stamp from Tiddlyinks and Copic coloured her. The frames the heart and the tab are all from the die cut ephemera (BPK) and the vellum behind the background frame is also included with the pattern paper in the TSK. It is a awesome quality A4 sheet of vellum from American Crafts, just adds a little bit of softness to the background.

This photo below is the second fold out. I attached a envelope using some pattern paper to hold my note for my pen pal and I just had to share some of the amazing pretty bits that are included in both the TSK & BPK. In with these pretty  are a whole lot of pretty ... including beautifully matched sequins ... beads ... little charms ... dainty paper doily ... the tag that I used to tie on the little pack I am sharing was even in with the pretty bits.

I finished off this Happy Mail by making a Memory Dex card using little bits and pieces I had left over from the pattern paper and cardstock.
I hand made a rosette using my score board. I die cut and embossed a circle and placed a die cut ephemera piece on top ... with more little off cuts of pattern paper I die cut a tiny bow and sat it as the final layer for my rosette. I used another embossing folder to emboss the coloured cardstock from the PAK and stuck it all to my memory dex base I had also die cut. Packed in a self sealing plastic bag and made my own bag topper with some more off cuts and added a heart and xoxo piece from the die cuts.

My Happy Mail pen pal loved what I had made for her and I am hoping that you guys like it also ... I think a lot of scrapbooking techniques are incorporated into making Happy Mail when it comes to the decorating so maybe I may inspire some scrappy ladies also ... thanks once again for taking the time to catch up with me on a Monday ... from now on every second Monday will be Messy Monday's ... with every other Monday being Happy Mail Monday's ... I really hope you come back again

Week 10 Project Life - Lydia

Good morning everyone, Lydia back to share a project using the beautiful new Skye Kits from The Scrappery Kit Club. I am very excited to be back and creating after having bit of a break while I finished and graduated from High School. I am now onto a new journey of University studying a Bachelor of Photography.

Here is the full single page pocket page spread using the Pretty Little Kit (pocket page).

Currently taking it back to 2017 to try and catch up on my Project Life album and what better way to do so is using The Scrappery Kits that are full and ready to use with all the gorgeous products from Cocoa Vanilla Studio.

Oh my!! Those Thickers were perfect to add a little tiny touch of subtle sparkle to the layout for the weekly title card as well as one of those delicate doily's.

A handmade filler card using some of the Cocoa Vanilla Studio stickers.

Perfect amount of embellishing for a journal card.

I hope you all enjoyed this little project I have made using the new Skye kits and I cant wait to share another project soon.

'SPARKLE tonight' - Lydia

Hello Scrappery friends, Happy Easter to you all!! I hope you are all enjoying your weekend filled with loads of chocolate and hot cross buns.

So today I am back to share another layout using the new 'Olivia' kits. I am hoping you have all received your kits by now and are enjoying creating with them.

Now what's a layout without some pretty KaiserCraft flowers. These blush flowers work beautifully with the Cocoa Vanilla Studio collection 'More Than Words'. This collection is also perfect for those Easter photos you will have to documenting as the pastel colours are perfect.

I can just say now that all my projects using the 'Olivia' kits will have fussy cut butterflies, because they are gorgeous.

This layout doesn't have many embellishments are the main feature is the fringed paper that I cut using the patterned paper in he kits. For my title I added I used the two differ Thickers that come in the kits tooo.

Again, I hope you are all enjoying your Easter weekend and maybe get a little creative time to have a pay with your kits.

'magic' - Lydia

Good morning beautiful creative people, Lydia back finally to share another project. It's been a long time! It's been a crazy start to the year and getting used to grade 12 and all that it has install for me this year, including the huge workload that has taken weeks to get used to. But I am finally on top and ready to get fully organised and start creating and sharing again.

What better way to start sharing again with the brand new 'Olivia' kits. These kits are so sunning filled with the beautiful pastel colours of the new Cocoa Vanilla Studio collection 'More Than Words'.

So today I am sharing my first creation of a 12x12 layout using these kits.

I always find it so easy to create using colours and elements that I love. So working with the pinks, blues and butterflies this layout came together quite quick.

For this layout I did go for a more minimalistic style using the vellum black and white florals with the pops of pinks and corals from the butterflies. I also love the contrast from the greys to the bold black of those gorgeous Thickers.

Of course I had to add some dimension using these KaiserCraft florals as a cluster under the photo.

On the opposite bottom side of the image to the KiaserCraft florals, I added a few pieces of ephemera from the ephemera pack as well as a ever beautiful flair from the collection. I also added some enamel dots/hearts around the whole layout too.

Over the whole layout are fussy cut butterflies from one of the 12x12 papers. I paired the butterflies with some of the vellum florals. I love how they are give the feeling that they are fling around the page.

And that is my first project using these kits. My fingers are crossed that you all receive your kits very soon to be able to start creating with such beautiful products.

Have a great Sunday.

'happy sweet 16th birthday' - Lydia

Hello Scrappery peeps, Lydia back to finally share another project using the 'Belle' kits. The past few weeks has been crazy with end of semester exams and then a school camp to start the school holidays, and in that process I lost my creative mojo and have been stuck in the ditch trying to get back out of it. But I am back and ready to get the paper and glue back out and to create.

So here is a project a I have been meaning to do a blog post for a few weeks and it is a sweet 16th card I made for one of my friends. I love how this card turned out wit the beautiful florals in the 'Belle' kits.

I did do a little bit of fussy cutting of the florals but it was worth it because they are gorgeous. I did use doily from my stash as it did need something delicate in the background.

I used the fabric Thickers and I also used one of the Cocoa Vanilla wood veneer words that says 'sweet'. I love the addition of the wood veneer and different font within the alpha's.

And of course to finished the card I added some of the beautiful glittery Cocoa Vanilla Studio enamel dots.

So I hope you like this card and I will sure be back very soon to share another project.
I am glad I am back and can't wait to do another blog post.

Hope you have a wonderful week ahead.

"Hello Gorgeous" TN spread with Lisa

Hi there
Lisa here today sharing a Traveller's Notebook spread I have done using the "Belle" kits.

I have scrapped a 3x4 photo of our gorgeous Spoodle "Pepper" we love her to pieces.
I have kept the layout quite simple once again using some gorgeous goodies from Cocoa Vanilla Studios "Wild at Heart" collection from the kits.

I made a crepe paper rosette as a feature on the left side. I just added double sided tape to a 1inch punched circle of paper then roughly folded the crepe paper in a concertina fold & adhered it to the circle. I stapled the centre for extra strength then decorated the centre with some ephemera.

Some more close ups.
I like to have lots of 3D, layered items in my spreads. Yes, it can make the TN quite chunky
when its full - but I am okay with that.
(Reminds self there are no rules!)

I love the little squiggle stamp that is one the roller stamp that came in the PL kit! Too cute & adds that last little something.

Thanks for stopping by, I hope you have enjoyed my share.
Make sure you check out our kits in the shop!

"US" layout - with Lisa

Hi there, Lisa here today - sharing a layout.

I have scrapped a very rare photo of my husband & I, neither of us like to be in front of the camera. This photo was taken in Kiama N.S.W. - one of our most favourite places.
As I was typing this blog post I realised that this post goes up on our 21st Wedding Anniversary! I can't believe its been that long - where have all the years gone?

I used all the gorgeous "Cocoa Vanilla Studio" - "Wild at Heart" collection that is in the "Belle" kits.

Here is a close up angled shot so you can see some of the layering.
I used the gorgeous vellum as a base on the white card stock & used some of the cut a parts to create a feature in the design.

Some more close ups...I used lots of the goodies from the kit, chipboard stickers, doily, flair, ephemera & rubber pieces.

I hope you have enjoyed my share today, thanks for stopping by.
Make sure you check out our great kits & other items in the shop.
